I. Introduction

It is with deep emotion and some perspective that I write to you today, a few weeks after the launch of my new book, The Church That Kills Its Shepherd. This project, long nurtured through prayer, silence, and tears, has finally become a reality.
I am taking this moment to reflect on this significant milestone and, above all, to tell you more about what lies behind these pages.
II. An Unforgettable Launch
The day of the book launch will remain etched in my memory. The atmosphere was both solemn and fraternal. There was laughter, moved silences, looks that spoke volumes... Thank you to all those who made the trip, sometimes from far away, to experience this event.

I think of that sister who confided in me that the first pages had already spoken to her, as if someone had put words to her pain. I also think back to that brother, a former church leader, who read an excerpt aloud while weeping.
Yes, this book touches people, because it comes from a place of truth.
III. Book presentation
The Church That Kills Its Shepherd is much more than a striking title. It is a cry, a call, a challenge. This book explores with honesty and depth a taboo subject: the wounds that some pastors suffer within the very church they serve.
This book, at once testimony, hymn, and prophecy, is addressed to:
those who serve God and bear the burden of the church,
church members who wish to understand,
all those who desire to see the church healed and restored.
Why this book now?
There is urgency. Too many shepherds are exhausted, isolated, wounded... Sometimes, it is not the external enemy that wears them down the most, but the house itself.
This book stands out for its sincerity: it is neither a theological essay nor a pamphlet, but a cry of hope, rooted in the Bible.
IV. Why This Book Matters to Me (and Perhaps to You)
I wrote these pages after seeing so many pastors weep in silence after the service. For all those pastoral families who feel alone. To remind people that the Church must also care for its shepherds, support them, and protect them.
I still believe in a Church capable of repentance, reconciliation, and rebirth. My hope is that each reader will find in it a call to healing, vigilance, and above all, love. Perhaps this book will only plant seeds, but it can also open a path toward deep restoration.
V. BTS: An inner journey
Writing this book was not easy. Between sleepless nights, moments of discouragement, and doubts, there were times I wanted to give up. But one question pursued me: "If you remain silent, who will speak for them?"
The publishing process was an adventure in itself: corrections, late-night proofreading, deadlines... But every step mattered.
And now ?
The book is now available in paperback and digital formats. It can be ordered on Amazon or at the Église Évangélique en Marche.
I strongly encourage you to share your feedback with me. A word, a thought, a testimony... Your impressions are precious. Don't hesitate to leave a review, talk about it with others, or even gift this book to a church leader.
Thank you, from the bottom of my heart
To my first readers, thank you. To those who proofread, encouraged, corrected, and supported me... thank you. To the team that helped me make this dream a reality, thank you. And to all of you who opened this book with respect and openness: I am deeply moved. You have made this moment alive, profound, and full of hope.

And you?
Have you already had time to read The Church That Kills Its Shepherd? Which part challenged you the most? Which verse or chapter resonated with you? I am listening. Write to me, share your impressions, and together, let us bring this message of truth and restoration to life.
With gratitude and hope,
Rev. Samuel NSapu
